UK Paruresis Trust (UKPT) Women’s Day Central London

We are holding a UKPT Women’s day in central London on 16th June 2018, beginning at noon and ending at 5.00 pm.

This Women’s Day is for any women who are experiencing paruresis, also known as Shy Bladder Syndrome.

There appears to be fewer females than males affected by paruresis, but nevertheless some women’s lives are severely affected by the difficulties they experience in using public toilets.

The day will be an opportunity to:

  • find out you are not alone with this condition
  • compare and share experiences, with no pressure, in a supportive environment
  • find out what has helped other women
  • find out what hasn’t helped
  • learn about the UKPT ethos and methods for reducing the impact of paruresis

The event will be run on totally confidential lines by a woman who is a trustee of the UKPT and herself has experience of paruresis.

The venue is Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ.

There is no fee to attend the day but it is suggested that attendees bring their own lunch, although tea and coffee will be provided

If you are interested in attending please click the register button below and submit your details.
